Q:At what intervals does the auto-lock (stop) at? A: The manual series auto-locks at 2 cm intervals.
Q:Can the manual screen be converted into an electric screen? A: No, the manual screen cannot be converted into an electric screen.
Q:Is there a tripod stand for the manual screen? A: No, the manual pull-down screen screen does not have the option to be put on a tripod stand.
Q:My screen will not retract, what should I do? A: First, check to see if your screen can be pulled further down an additional 1-2 inches. If so, pull the screen down towards your stomach at a 45 degree angle and release to retract. If this procedure does not work, the screen will need to be re-tensioned. Your manual screen can easily be re-tensioned, please see the instructions HERE
Q:Repositioning the height settings has always been a problem to me. What is the best way to do it? A: Give a light jerk in a downward motion to disengage the locking cam. This will allow the spring to draw the screen material up. Guide the screen as it retracts until it has reached its preferred height setting, then pull it down slightly and ease the material until it has locked into place.
Q:Is it difficult to remove this screen from its installation and set it up somewhere else when remodeling my home/business? A: Elite’s Manual series of projection screens are completely self contained and can be easily removed from their present fixtures. All that is required is to lift the screen casing upward until its mounting attachment disengages from the wall screws (wall installation) or the D-rings disengage from the ceiling hooks (ceiling installation). The screen can then be carried to another mounting location without any need for disassembly.
Q:What are the model numbers for the Manual Series? A: Here is a complete listing of all the model numbers in the manual series:

"BOOM!- May 9, 2014- We love the movies but let's be honest, who can afford a family of 5 anymore?? Especially IMAX, its crazy! Now with this crystal clear, inexpensive screen coupled with an HD projector and blu-ray, our only commute is from the stove with popcorn to the media room! Kids can be as loud as they want, get up, etc and it won't disturb anyone. Other than being an absolute challenge to hang as it is very long and require heavy duty mounting supplies, it works awesome! PLEASE do not attempt to use the hardware that came with unit as it will rip right out of the wall as the screen is heavy plus when you pull on it, you add about 30-50#'s. (hence the big dent in ours now as it fell on top of the book case.) Go to Home Depot/Lowes or whatever you have and get hardcore wall anchors that support 150#'s+, you will not be disappointed. For a bit over $100, it is awesome, awesome, awesome! It does have a plastic/pvc type smell for a few days so we left it pulle down and opened the windows...ENJOY!"
From an Amazon.com Customer Review
"This is truly a great screen. I just ordered and mounted the 100" screen and everything worked out flawlessly. I used the plastic drywall anchors and screws that came with the screen and it was more than enough support. I saw some people saying that two drywall anchors won't hold the screen, but that is most certainly not the case. A normal plastic anchor supports ~ 40lbs each. As for the screen itself, when it was first pulled down the edges were curled in a bit, but after leaving it down overnight they straightened out perfectly. I definitely recommend this screen to future buyers!"
