Now,
this part is a secret—I haven’t mentioned
it to Simon yet—but I have another new addition
for the house in mind. While I was manning the
booth at the aforementioned CEDIA Lifestyles show,
I discovered the Elite Screens, who were displaying
across from us, were also there under their SolaraHome
brand, showing off their home theater seating.
Their Elysium sofa is a curved model, which features
fold-down armrests—to provide additional
space for refreshments— transforming the
sofa into two single recliners on each side with
a love seat in the middle. While the love seat
didn’t recline, there was a hidden floor-level
compartment under the seat, and a matching ottoman
with internal storage. Also on display was the
Mirage L-shaped segmented couch, whose center
seat backings fold down to become snack tables
with cup holders. Very cool, indeed. The Elysium
is available in black and dark brown 100 percent
leather upholstery, and the Mirage is also available
in beige. So, depending on exactly how I decide
I want to set up my new room, I have options.
Ah...Shopping and home theater. Gotta Love it!
